This is my entry into the Pokemon Professors History Contest.
In ancient Egypt, Mudkip were considered a sign of good fortune, as they only appeared when the Nile was beginning its yearly flood. Even Ramses II had a pet Mudkip, which some peasants believed was the cause of great rule.
